Fine finish carpentry.
Fine finish carpentry is the heart of what we do: built-ins, wainscoting, trim packages, paneling, mantels, and custom millwork for homes across Hillsboro, Cooper Mountain, and Portland's west side — measured, scribed, and installed by the owner, not a crew.
Timothy started in the trades at 19 and loves making something beautiful and useful — which is exactly what finish carpentry is. Whether it's a full-height wainscoting and trim package, a custom pantry build-out like our Cooper Mountain project, a fireplace mantel and surround, or floor-to-ceiling built-ins, the work is designed around your home's proportions and existing details, then built to last.
Finish carpentry is also the highest-leverage upgrade in most remodels: it's what makes a renovated room read as crafted rather than installed. We take it on as a standalone project or as the finishing phase of a larger remodel.
From our projects.
Good to know.
Finish carpentry is the visible woodwork in a home: baseboards, casing, crown molding, wainscoting and paneling, mantels, stair trim, built-in shelving and cabinetry, and custom millwork. It is the final, detail-focused phase of construction — distinct from rough framing — and it is the work that most defines how finished a room feels.
Yes. A single room's trim package, one built-in, or a mantel are all real projects to us — many clients start small and bring us back for larger remodels. Email a few sentences about what you have in mind and we'll schedule a walk-through.
