Oregon weather is hard on outdoor structures, so the details matter: proper footings, joist protection, ventilation gaps, stainless or coated fasteners, and materials chosen for how they age in the rain. We build in clear cedar and modern composites, with railing options from classic balusters to steel cable that keeps your view open.
Fences get the same treatment — set for our soil and wind, with gates that still swing true years later. Like everything we build, decks and fences carry our 2-year workmanship warranty.

Cedar costs less up front and looks beautifully natural, but needs cleaning and re-sealing every year or two in Oregon. Composite costs more initially and is largely maintenance-free for decades, which is why most of our west-side clients now choose it for full-sun or fully exposed decks. We walk through samples and total cost of ownership at the estimate.
